Riverside Drive Arts Fair
The Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU) will host a Road Diet on Riverside Drive between Ouellette Avenue and Goyeau Street on June 11. The purpose of the Road Diet is to temporarily reduce the width of the roadway in order to increase the efficiency of the traffic flow. In turn, we are looking to stimulate the area by placing artistic exhibitors on the lanes that will be closed and demonstrate the riverfront’s capacity to be an engaging and vibrant destination for residents and visitors alike.
We are looking to activate the street by staging an Art Fair and are inviting local artists and crafters to display their talents. Join us and set up a FREE 10' x 10' booth/exhibit.
The event presents a unique opportunity to sell your products while basking in the beauty of Windsor’s riverfront. The DWBIA envisions that this event will capture a wide array of artistic and creative talent from Windsor and Essex County, while creating a vibrant atmosphere for downtown residents and visitors. The proposed event will commence at 8:00am and run until 2:00pm. Set up will be from 7:00am to 8:00am and tear down will be from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.
Space is limited to 20 booths/exhibitors. If you are interested in participating, please register before May 18 by emailing Matt at firstname.lastname@example.org.
